Bio (Chemistry)

If you spend any time with Roy English you get the unspoken sense that he knows exactly where he is going. Having toured around the country for the better part of four years with his previous Indie band Eye Alaska, Roy has the confidence of a veteran with the drive of an up-and-comer.

He’s  worked alongside some of the music industry’s greatest producers like Matt Wallace (Maroon 5), Jeff Bhasker (Fun, Kanye West), and Teddy Riley (Michael Jackson), and is currently working on an EP with Watch the Throne producer S1.

“The fact that so many amazing and influential producers believe in me is incredible. I wouldn’t be in the position I am today without them. I’m doing this on my own. I don’t have a record label or money to pay anyone. It’s all because of the music,” says English.

With a buttery smooth voice, an incredible work ethic, and his own brand of Cinematic Alternative Rock and R&B, the future is looking very bright for this young artist.

Roy English @ Glass House Feb 23

I will be playing The Glass House in Pomona, CA on February 23rd.

This show will benefit the family of Christian Dasilva who was recently killed after his motorcycle collided with a Lexus in Huntington Beach.

Christian was the sound guy at my local venue, Chain Reaction, and became a good friend of mine after years of annoying him as kid growing up. He loved his kids so much and all the proceeds will be donated to help them.

Myself, Hellogoodbye, Taken (Reunion), Takota (Reunion), and Limbeck will all be playing in support. He helped us all out in our starts as young musicians and it’s the least we could do.
